A self-confessed ‘absurdellect’, ELC’s last LP is an ambient, atmospheric, dystopic soundscape. Minimal yet emotive, focusing on subtle textures, field recordings, and granular synthesis this album is thoughtful and evocative, appealing to listeners of ambient and experimental genres.
Early Aphex Twin is a good reference point for the introspective atmosphere of ELC’s music.
