A warm welcome to a new supporter of 24:1900 (music festival) for this year, The Zine.
Like the zeenagers they are, The Zine have been up to (no) good for some time. Their support of grassroots music has been at the heart of what they do for years.
But they are also impassioned seekers of social justice - recent article “Kneecap, Bob Vylan and the new era of radical truth-telling in music” is an intelligent critique of recent moral panics.
With our fundraising focused on the need for an independent media (in an age of authoritarianism), to make sure that we do not lose sight of the many issues that we should be kept informed of, we are proud to have The Zine support 24:1900.
